WINDOW

SELECTION GUIDE

Making Ordering Easy

What Makes a Window?

Windows may seem simple, but they’re cleverly designed for your home. Let’s break down the parts that make every window... well, a window:

1  The Frame – The Backbone

Think of the frame as holding everything together, it keeps the glass in line, and makes sure the whole thing stays standing tall—rain or shine.

2  The Sash – The Mover & Shaker

This is the part that slides up, down, or sideways to let in fresh air. It’s the part of the window that actually moves.

3  The Glass – The Star of the Show

Single-pane, double-pane, even triple-pane for extra insulation—this is the part you see through, daydream through, and accidentally smudge with your fingerprints.

4  The Grilles – The Fashion Statement

Grilles (aka muntins) are like window jewelry. They can add charm, character, and that little bit of extra style to your home’s look.

5  The Locks & Latches – The Security Guards

Quiet but mighty, these little parts keep your window locked tight when needed.

6  The Sill – The Window’s Sneaker

It’s the bottom part of the frame and often where plants sit, cats nap, or coffee mugs rest.

7  The Jamb – The Sidekick

Running up each side of the window frame, the jambs are always there for support.
